Dr. James Church is an educator and researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at Austin Peay State University. He enjoys travel with his wife Michelle, programming, electronics, retro video games, and board games. Our baby is a 1.4-meter long iguana named Khan.
His passion is telling stories supported by data. He is the author of Learning Haskell Data Analysis, which teaches how to properly sift through large amounts of data to tell stories accurately. He’s also interested in functional programming, programming languages, and computational geometry.
His next goal in life is to make a contribution through non-trivial software to change the world.
